YREKA, Calif. (July 20) – Siskiyou Motor Speedway hosts its second IMCA Modified special of the season, paying $1,000 to the winner of the Saturday, July 24 Rod Restad Memorial.
The 50-lap main event, a qualifier for the 2011 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot, will be stopped at midway for refuel ing.
All applicable IMCA points will be awarded.
Pit gates and the grandstand at Yreka open at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at approximately 5:30 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. A kids’ bicycle race is also part of the evening’s program.
Grandstand admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $5 for kids, with six and under admitted free. Pit passes are $25.
