ALTA, Iowa (Jan. 27) – A 13th date has been added to the 2012 JR Motorsports Hawkeye Dirt Tour schedule.
IMCA Modifieds will headline the Tuesday, June 26 show at Buena Vista Raceway in Alta, racing for a top prize of $1,000.
Special series, Allstar Performance State, North Central Region and IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing national points will be awarded. Support divisions are to be announced.
The third annual series opens May 8 at Benton County Speedway in Vinton. All 13 features are qualifying events for 2012 or 2013 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballots.
Chris Abelson won the tour race at BVR last August.
