VINTON, Iowa – A record 19 entries have been received for IMCA’s fourth annual Manufacturer’s Cup contest.
Modified builders compete for national and regional awards, based on top 10 standings in each of the five regions.
The builder with the top overall point total will be recognized as the national Manufacturer of the Year, a title that will be accompanied by a $500 prize and a trophy, along with jackets for all staff members courtesy of Speedway Motors.
Manufacturer’s Cup awards will be presented during the national IMCA awards banquet in Lincoln, Neb., in November.
New to the Manufacturers’ Cup field this year are 1st Class Chassis of Great Bend, Kan., Addiction Chassis of Price, Utah, Dirt Boss Chassis of Boone, Edge Chassis of Red Oak, Rage Chassis of West Union and Razor Chassis of LeMars.
They join defending national Manufacturer of the Year Belleville Motorsports of Belleville, Kan.; Billsbuilt Race Cars of Wichita, Kan.; Destroyer Chassis of Kennedale, Texas; GRT Race Cars of Greenbrier, Ark.; Harris Auto Racing of Boone; Hoffman Race Cars of Oronogo, Mo.; Jet Racing of Beatrice, Neb.; Larry Shaw Race Cars of Batesville, Ark.; Medieval Chassis of Mayer, Minn.; Skyrocket Chassis of Fertile; Smiley’s Racing Chassis of Mesquite, Texas; Taylor Motorsports of Jonesboro, Ark.; and Victory Chassis of Boone.
